Diwali brings back memories of glowing diyas, family visits and plates of homemade sweets passed around with a cup of tea. When you’re celebrating away from India, those familiar flavours can make home feel a little closer.
At Dhaara Foods, our homemade sweets and savouries are freshly prepared to order, helping you bring a taste of home to your Diwali celebrations in the UK.
When is Diwali in 2026?
Diwali falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026. The Festival of Lights is a time for lighting lamps, gathering with loved ones and sharing food. Family traditions and celebrations can span several days, so planning your festive treats early gives you one less thing to organise.
Homemade sweets for your Diwali table
For many families, the celebrations begin in the kitchen. A plate of laddus or a box of favourite sweets is part of welcoming guests, visiting friends and sharing the joy of the season.
Our pre-order range includes Boondi Laddu, Kajjikayalu, Jaggery Sunnundalu, Kobbari Laddu and Sweet Gavvalu. You can also choose Dry Fruit Laddu, Ragi Dry Fruit Laddu, Gond Laddu and Dry Fruit Chikki.
Choose your favourites in 500g or 1kg packs for your family gathering or festive snack table. Each product is freshly prepared to order.
Something savoury to share
A festive spread needs something crunchy alongside the sweets. Our homemade savouries include Janthikalu, Chekkalu, Atukulu Mixture, Karapusa, Sanna Karapusa, Beetroot Karapusa, Karam Gavvalu and Chegodilu.
We use fresh sunflower oil to prepare our savoury snacks. Serve a selection alongside your sweets, or keep a bowl ready for guests to enjoy with tea.
